7 Senses Therapy Center, Inc. is seeking a full-time pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with children and families, a go-getter attitude, and experience with neurodiversity-affirming practice, AAC, early language, speech sound disorders, and fluency.  

Experience working directly with AAC Vendors is a plus!

 

Pay: Up to $90,000/year based on experience 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to evaluate speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
  • Provide speech therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance communication skills.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to support patient development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Completion of Master’s or Doctorate degree in Communication Sciences or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active license (in good standing) to practice as an SLP in the state of Virginia (or eligible to obtain).
  • Successful completion of Certificate of Clinical Competence. (CFs welcome with multi-year commitment).
  • Strong communication and client advocacy skills.
  • Experience with electronic medical records.
  • Proof of current CPR and Basic Life Support certification (or willing to obtain).

  • Stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.

  • Active license to practice as an OT in the state of Virginia (or eligible to obtain).

Experience working with mobility vendors and neurodiversity-affirming care is a plus!

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
